毛德華、馬群、周兵兵組織完成的Landscape Ecology專輯順利出版
“生態文明建設”和“可持續發展戰略”已成為科技工作者廣泛關注的新時代議題。近二十年來,堅持以人為本、聚焦人地關系、為可持續發展提供科技支撐的新興學科—“可持續性科學”已日漸發展成為國際顯學。景觀作為區域發展的內在載體和外在表現,既是當前可持續發展和生態文明建設的重要熱點,也是可持續性科學研究的關鍵尺度和核心對象。隨著遙感、大數據等技術的不斷發展,景觀可持續性科學的相關理論、方法和應用研究對于可持續發展和生態系統的可持續管理等具有重要的科學指導意義。
以此為背景,中科院東北地理所毛德華副研究員、上海師范大學馬群副研究員、亞利桑那州立大學周兵兵博士接受《Landscape Ecology》期刊的邀請,作為Guest Editor以“Sustainability of human–environment systems through the lens of landscape”為題組織專刊,以期推動以景觀為視角的人與環境耦合系統的可持續性研究。專輯(Volume 35,Issue 11)共收錄論文15篇,其中包括3篇綜述論文,分別從土地系統科學、草地生態學、旱區社會生態學的角度展示了景觀可持續性科學的發展前景;4篇案例研究論文聚焦城市化背景下的景觀可持續性;5篇論文介紹了景觀可持續性研究方法的新進展;最后3篇論文介紹了推進景觀可持續性科學發展的不同視角。毛德華等為此專輯撰寫了編者按“Sustainability of human–environment systems through the lens of landscape”。該專輯的順利出版將進一步推介可持續性科學這一新興學科,也可為人地耦合系統研究領域的相關學者提供新的思路和借鑒。
《Landscape Ecology》是景觀生態學研究領域的旗幟期刊,重點關注對空間異質性的生態學理解。《Landscape Ecology》將生物物理學和社會經濟科學的專業知識結合在一起,探索有關生態、保護、管理、設計與規劃、以及人地耦合系統的景觀可持續性的基礎和應用研究問題。

東北地理所地理景觀遙感研究團隊曾于2019年6月主辦了第一屆“可持續科學青年研討會”,來自國內外20余個科研單位相關領域的知名專家、青年學者及研究生近百人參加了研討會。研討會圍繞“可持續性科學的概念、理論和方法”“景觀可持續性與土地系統設計”“遙感與GIS等在可持續性研究中的應用”“區域發展與可持續性科學應用研究”四個議題開展了學術交流和討論,并做出了組織此次正式出版的Landscape Ecology期刊專輯的決議。國際著名景觀生態學與可持續性研究專家、第一屆“可持續科學青年研討會”大會主席、Landscape Ecology期刊主編、美國亞利桑那州立大學可持續性科學學院鄔建國教授為Landscape Ecology期刊專輯的稿件組織給予了悉心的指導。
